I learned early on that animals are family, and that the bond created is often indescribable. That’s why I go beyond simply painting what is physically seen; a proper portrait, in my opinion, has life to it. This collection portrays just a handful of the unique spirits and personalities of animals I’ve had the privilege of connecting with, whether through my own experience or their human's story. I’ve been able to then translate that energy into a deeply authentic and lasting tribute to that individual’s spirit and character. Whether honoring a life that has passed or celebrating the presence of a companion still Earthside, my portraits ensure you can always feel them there with you.
