About

A woman kneeling on the wooden floor, painting a circular canvas on the wall, with art supplies and a painting of a mountain landscape in the background.

From my earliest memories, I've found immense joy in transforming visions, creative sparks, and the unique essence of animals and nature into tangible memories through my art.

Growing up in the heart of a national forest, my days were filled with exploring, observing, and simply being present in nature. You'd likely find me out on the river, perched in a tree, or quietly observing the creatures around me. This early fascination with animals included a home filled with pets, and later, blossomed into a fulfilling decade in the veterinary field, followed by another as a dog handler.

My wild upbringing instilled a profound love and deep respect for nature's details and beauty, a reverence that naturally extended to the animals with whom I formed a profound connection. This constant closeness allowed me to truly know and understand them, seeing beyond the surface in a way others often miss. It's truly the heart of everything I create, and I'm dedicated to capturing realism with a soul in all my pieces.
